Kala bhuna (Bengali: কালাভুনা,Chittagonian: হালা ভুনো(Hala bhuno)) is a meat curry prepared from beef or mutton, originated in Chittagong, Bangladesh.Different types of spices are needed to prepare this traditional dish of Chittagong. In Bengali, the word kala or kalo means blackish and bhuna means deep fry. Kala bhuna got its name from its color as the meat gets blackish by a long process of cooking and frying it with a plenty of spices. Nowadays, this dish has became a favorite delicacy in mejbans, weddings, eid and in seheri or iftar during the time of ramjan. Usually, Kala bhuna is eaten with plain rice, polao, porota, naan or ruti.Ingredients
Chicken 500 gm
3 big size onion
Gerlic 1 medium size
Ginger, gerlic, green chilli paste 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp
red chilli powder 1 tbsp
coriander powder 1/2 tsp
curd 2 tbsp
Bhaja masala
Jaiphol 1/2
Cloves 4 pcs
Samorich 6 pcs
cardamom 5 pcs
Cinnamon 2 pcs
Gota jeera 1 tsp
Mustard oil 50 gm
